Who Said It

One true thing each.

Everyone writes one true thing about themselves that nobody in the room would guess. The facts come back one at a time with no name attached, and the room pins each one on whoever they think wrote it. Two Truths and a Lie without the lying — all of it is real, which is exactly why it works. Guessers score for being right and authors score for staying hidden, so it pays to dig up the strangest true thing about yourself.

How to play

  1. Everyone writes one surprising true fact about themselves.
  2. Facts are shuffled and shown one at a time with no name attached.
  3. Everyone points at the person they think wrote it.
  4. The author is revealed. Guessers score for being right, authors score for staying hidden.

The sort of thing people write about themselves

Those are made up. The real ones come from whoever is playing.

What you need

A phone each and at least three people. Everyone opens the same link and types four letters. Nothing to install, no accounts. In the same room, put the shared screen on a TV. Spread across the country, play it over a video call with the shared screen on your phones.

Good for

Mixed groups. Work teams. Anyone who hates icebreakers and needs one anyway.
